December’s Exploring the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve Walk will be a Winter Full Moon Walk at the Fall River Water Department’s Watuppa Reservation. The Indian name for the December moon is the “Cold Moon.”

Wear appropriate cold weather clothing. Approximate length of walk 2 miles. We walk by moonlight, but bring a small flashlight in the event a mischievous cloud blocks out the moon.

Park along the east side of Blossom Road. The north end of Blossom Road is vehicle destroying, so make sure you access Blossom Road from its south end in Westport.
