Why membership matters
When you become a member, you invest in the Coalition’s work to protect and restore our Bay and local environment for all. About 80 percent of our funds come from members like you who participate in our events, contribute to our Annual Fund, and renew your membership year after year.
The impact of our individual members and corporate members goes beyond the support that they provide for our conservation, restoration, science, and public outreach efforts. To put it simply, there’s strength in numbers.
When we go to town halls, state agencies and elected officials, we represent thousands of people who live around the Bay and are committed to its restoration and protection. That matters when it comes to creating and enforcing laws that protect clean water. It helps to spur investments in public infrastructure. And it is important to private foundations and public agencies that issue grants in support of protecting the environment. Knowing that you’re with us can make all the difference.
