Join Buzzards Bay Coalition and President of South Shore Bird Club, Nate Marchessault, for an exploration along Cape Cod Canal in search of seabirds. We’ll spend the morning at key locations along the Canal viewing the waterbirds that utilize this area as a wintering ground. All levels of birders welcome!

A warm coat, hat, and gloves are highly recommended. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Pairs will also be available to borrow.

We will meet next to the football field at Mass Maritime Academy, where we can search for seabirds as we wait for all the group to arrive. We will travel to different locations along the canal, so if you are coming with family or friends, please carpool if possible.
