Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature with Jessica Webb, owner of Anchor Yoga, and the Buzzards Bay Coalition during this mindfulness walk at Mark’s Cove in Wareham.

A mindfulness walk is about becoming fully awake in the wild, in every sense of the word: aware of the touch of air on the skin, the sound of the leaves underfoot, the smell of the moist soil, the sight of the vibrant green moss. What we see, what we hear, what we smell, what we touch—it’s all part of the mindfulness experience. Human beings have been spending contemplative time in nature for millennia. But, in today’s fast-paced and over-connected world, our time in nature is becoming increasingly scarce. A guided mindfulness walk is the antidote to our busy, connected and “always-doing” life. Enjoy a device-free walk that let’s you take a break from the busy-ness of your life and the constant “doing” and letting yourself simply “be.”

All fitness levels are welcome. Please wear appropriate footwear for a walk through nature, and remember that we will follow social distancing guidelines, including the wearing of masks for all individuals more than five years old.
