With December comes winter. Holly trees that are barely noticed when the forest is summer green are difficult to miss in a winter forest of grays and browns.

Join Green Futures for a walk through the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve, to view the winter woods and the trees and shrubs that have decided to keep their green year-round.

Meet at Blossom Road at the small parking lot, yellow gate, approximately 500′ south of 2929 Blossom Road, Fall River, MA. Due to of the extremely poor road conditions make sure you approach the meeting location from the Westport, south end, of Blossom Road.

Length of walk approximately 2 1/2 miles. Wear appropriate shoes/boots for hiking rough woodland paths and trails. Water and snack always a good idea.

Rain or heavy snow cancels walk.

Cost: Free
