Boating safety is of the utmost importance when you are on or around the bay. In partnership with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Cape Cod Canal Station, BBC is thrilled to offer several FREE seminars to help everyone feel more safe and comfortable around Buzzards Bay. The Coast Guard Auxiliary has taught a number of safe boating courses and seminars for youth and the community at large at the Onset Bay Center and returns this Fall to provide the same service. 

Administrators (NASBLA) Certified Course for all ages (For youth: 12-16 to operate a watercraft on their own). Topics discussed: 1. Know Your Boat, 2. Getting Underway, 3. Operating your Boat Safely, 4. Legal Requirements, 5. Boating Emergencies, 6. Enjoying Watersports with your Boat. All ages welcome!

This seminar takes place over two days: 11/12 and 11/19.
