Onset Bay Center Announces Exciting News for 2026 Programming
The Onset Bay Center (OBC) is committed to ensuring that every child regardless of financial circumstance has the opportunity to explore, learn, and play along the shores of Buzzards Bay. To maintain program quality while keeping our camps affordable for needs-based and local families, OBC is introducing a tiered pricing structure beginning in Summer 2026.
To continue supporting our local communities and reduce barriers for families most in need, the following discounts will be made available:
- Households making less than $60,000 a year are eligible to receive 100% scholarship. This year, households making between $60,000 – $80,000 a year are eligible to receive 75% scholarship).
- Wareham Residents: 10% discount. Proof of address required.
Only one discount/scholarship may be applied per registration. The single best discount available to a registrant will apply.
Due to popular demand, a half-day camp will also be available to a new age group: Young Explorers (Age 6-7).
Income-Based Scholarship Program
Scholarships are available for families demonstrating financial need, made possible through the OBC Scholarship Fund. Awards are based on available funds and residency priority. Scholarship preference will be given in the following order:
- Residents of Onset, Wareham, and Buzzards Bay
- Residents of other Buzzards Bay Watershed Towns
- Residents from outside the Buzzards Bay Watershed
