Beautiful savory swimmer – that’s the translation of the scientific name for the blue crab, Callinectes sapidus. You’ll learn about this beautiful but feisty crab as you try to lure a few to the shore at Shining Tides Beach in Mattapoisett. You’ll also master techniques for picking up an energetic crab without getting pinched! Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy.
