The fourth annual Wareham Oyster Festival will be held Sunday, May 28 on Main Street, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a full slate of additional activities during the week leading up to the festival. The festival features plenty of food of all sorts, with a focus on shellfish, live music, carefully selected crafters, and more.
Shellfish purveyors from throughout southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands, and Rhode Island will be on hand. Music will include the Southcoast Jazz Orchestra, classic rock band Synthesis, and others.

Other events during Oyster Festival Week include the Wareham Oyster 5K to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham, the Oyster Gala to benefit the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, and an educational series presented by the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
