Connect with the land and wildlife of Lyman Reserve by joining Wareham Land Trust’s TerraCorps/AmeriCorps Land Stewardship Coordinator, Mike Perrin, on a series of informative birding hikes! NOTE: time change accounting for tides. The group will be searching for shorebirds, waterbirds, and wading birds. Target species: Great Egret, Spotted Sandpiper, Common Tern.

Each month will follow a topic relevant to the ecological happenings of the time of year, spanning from wintering seaducks to migrating warblers. No prior birding experience is needed, no specific birding equipment is needed (though bring a pair of binoculars if you have them!), and all are welcome!

Mike will be offering sessions on weekends (1st Saturdays) and weekdays (3rd Wednesdays) to accommodate varying schedules. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions, but attendance is not mandatory.

Wednesday session: June 17th
