Join Fairhaven Harbor Master Tim Cox at North Cove, at the tip of West Island in Fairhaven, for a learn to quahog program. Waders and quahog rakes will be provided. This program is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required. Ages 12 and up.

This program is subject to a slight change of location with Harbor Master’s discretion. Exact directions will be emailed to you a couple days before the program, upon registering.

the Buzzards Bay Coalition leads a learn to quahog program for women on Mattapoisett Harbor — In addition to a permit, you'll need a few simple supplies to go quahogging: a peck basket, a clam gauge, and a rake. You may also want to don a pair of waders to stay warm and dry.
