Every spring, a host of amazing creatures risk their lives traveling to isolated seasonal wetlands known as vernal pools. These special places are nurseries for creatures that otherwise would not survive.

Join Westport Land Conservation Trust’s Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator, Brendan Buckless, for a virtual exploration of several vernal pools located in the Westport Woods Conservation Park and discuss the life cycle of the strange creatures which inhabit them.

You can join the adventure on Facebook Live.

This program is free and open to the public.
