Turtles rock! Many species make their home throughout Myles Standish State Forest, including ones you likely to only see in this forest. By learning more about them we can understand and appreciate their vital place in our world, past, present, and future. Join the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to learn how to identify different species of turtles in the area, and hopefully to see some yourself!
Children of all ages welcome. Meet at Interpretive Center in the Headquarters parking lot at 194 Cranberry Road, South Carver. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Bring water. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. Program is cancelled in the event of rain.
