Join the Appalachian Mountain Club for a two-part hike exploring forested wetlands, salt marshes, and shorelines!
The first hike is 4 miles on a new connecting trail that heads two miles east toward Allens Neck Road. The group will then return to the parking lot for lunch or snacks before the second optional hike. The second part is another 4 miles that heads south toward Allens Pond.
Meet at the Stone Barn Farm in Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary. Hiking boots, rain gear, water, and snacks/lunch required. Heavy rain will cancel. Snow or ice will require microspikes, stabilizers or snowshoes.
