The Super Bowl Walk

Join Westport Land Conservation Trust and The Trustees for this annual pre-Super Bowl walk!
Enjoy a hike that extends from the Slocum’s River in Dartmouth to the east branch of the Westport River in Westport. Conservation efforts in the area make this 6+ mile hike possible.
This is your chance to experience sections of trail not normally open to the public–and get a little fresh air before watching the big game! For a special treat, Westport Rivers Winery will be opening its doors to greet hikers at the end of the walk with discounted wine and beer.
The walk will begin at 11 AM at the Slocum’s River Reserve parking lot across from Sylvan Nursery. Thanks to Whaling City Transit, transportation will be provided from the winery back to your car with plenty of time to get home to watch the big game.
Please be advised that this is a challenge by choice event. Trails may be icy, snow-covered, or muddy. Proper footwear is required and no dogs are allowed on the walk.
