It’s a StoryWalk® about taking a walk in nature. The book, The Hike, by Alison Farrell, has been assembled on signs for you to stroll along the trails and enjoy at Horseshoe Mill. As you read along, you will notice the book was translated into Portuguese and Spanish.  

When you visit, you are encouraged to check in via QR code to be eligible for prizes. Participants who attend and register for all four stories throughout the year will be recognized at the Acushnet River Herring Festival in May 2022 by our mascot Clean Water. Participants who register will also be entered into a raffle for some BBC swag!
