Join Wildlands Trust staff, Malcolm and Rachel, for a guided hike through the trails of Halfway Pond Conservation Area on the winter solstice. Watch the sunset over Halfway Pond on the shortest day of the year, and finish the hike at dusk. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or cocoa afterwards to celebrate the increase in daylight thereafter. Bring a flashlight for the return hike.

The group will meet at the Wildlands Trust Headquarters and carpool to the small parking area at Gallow’s Pond. This event is recommended for ages 12 and up.
