Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition at The Sawmill for an exploration focused on the oldest living group of reptiles on Earth: turtles! For over 200 million years, these reptiles have been walking on land, swimming in the ocean, and drinking fresh water. We will search for turtles basking in the sun and signs of nesting, as well as discuss their unique adaptions and explore our intersecting lives with these animals. There will also be a take-home craft following the outdoor exploration.

During Saturdays at The Sawmill, the Hawes Family Learning Center will be open to the public from 10am-1pm, with the family program starting at 11am.
