This 2 hour course is to educate novice paddlers of the basic issues that may arise, the equipment they should have, and to provide guidance on becoming a safe paddler. Paddler’s Guide to Safety has been prepared by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in cooperation with the American Canoe Association.
