Come discover local wildlife and plants in the pine-oak forest, maritime dunes, wetlands, and sandplain habitats on Burgess Point! The OBC staff will lead participants on a kayak trip to Burgess Point. Upon landing at the beach, participants will hike through the trail and see the diversity and critical wildlife protected here. This program is great for ages 8-12 years old and is limited to 10 participants. Kayaking experience is not required. Life jackets are provided.

This program is part of “Wild for Wareham”, a collaboration by the Wareham Land Trust, Mass Audubon, and Buzzards Bay Coalition’s Onset Bay Center for a full week of outdoor activities that highlight all that Wareham has to offer, during school vacation (April 17 – 24, 2021).
