Join Mass Audubon for an important day in the field–and help check osprey nests for occupancy and incubating birds along both branches of the Westport River. We will meet at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary field station, then depart in our own vehicles with one team working from roadside viewing points along the East Branch of the Westport River and the other team doing the same on West Branch. Sanctuary staff will lead each team and provide insight into the lives of the osprey. Families are welcome to take part in this great learning experience! Dress to be outdoors and bring a light pack with snacks, a sack lunch and drinks. Binoculars and spotting scopes are helpful but not required (we have some you can use).

Rain date is 4/10, same time. The event is free, but registration is required.

Cost: Free, registration required.
