Pinnacle Hill — which may well be the highest point within Myles Standish State Forest — stands well hidden from the road. This two-hour hike by the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest offers a climb that will get your heart racing and several views of Great South Pond that will inspire you. Once we make it, we can continue on to the beaches on Great South Pond, crossing the road to return via Kings Pond Plain Road.

A trail has has reportedly been cut through the Wildlands Trust property, along Great South Pond to the peak of Pinnacle Hill.  However, long pants are advised. This hike may still involve minor bushwhacking. Sunscreen and bug spray are also recommended. Please bring water and wear good shoes for hiking.
