Learn how to identify and document natural communities anywhere you go! Natural communities are “recurring assemblages of plants and associated animals found in particular physical environments.” Jack Jezard, MassLIFT AmeriCorps member at the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA), is offering this workshop for free at the Wildlands Trust. Join the group for an indoor presentation from 10:00am-noon, enjoy a lunch break, and then hit the trails to practice identifying natural communities at Emery Preserve! This workshop is most suitable for adults.
