Join the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest and astronomer Jim Kundzicz at Wildlands Trust’s Davis-Douglas Farm for an opportunity to view and learn about the constellations of the winter sky. Jim will start with an inside Presentation in the Barn, reviewing what we will be targeting once we go outside.

Starting early will allow us to see the moon during dusk, before it gets too bright. We will also target several winter constellations when it gets darker – which we can view/discuss with the aid of a laser pointer.

We will use the large binoculars for the Pleiades and Beehive Star Clusters, along with the 10-inch telescope for the Orion Nebula and maybe the Andromeda galaxy.

All ages are welcome to come and go during the hours of 5:00 – 7:30 pm.

Cost: Free
