Experience bird migration on the South Coast this May with Mass Audubon. Wander with a naturalist and observe a different assemblage of birds and blooms each week. These walks will visit different parts of the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary and typically cover approximately 3 miles. With new species arriving daily from their winter homes, participants can view some of the state’s rarest birds of grassland, shrubland, and salt marsh in this Important Bird Area.

Dress for an outdoor hike, and be sure to apply sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring your binoculars and/or scope, hat, and sunglasses. We will stop for field breaks, so snacks and drinks are also recommended in your pack.

Cost: $10 Mass Audubon members, $12 non-members
