Wareham, MA 02558
Celebrate Earth Day with us at Onset Beach. Join us for a fun and meaningful marine debris clean-up with your family. You never know what trash may be another person’s treasure! We will do an inventory and see what trash we are collecting and you can extend this action by making informational posters and/or art with our trash to share with others. This program is great for all ages – families and individuals alike!
Important Details:The starting point for this program is at the Onset Bay Center, located at 186 Onset Avenue. Parking is available at the Onset Pier, at this time. When you arrive, you will check-in with a staff member by the flagpole. We ask that all participants please wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance. We will provide plastic gloves and trash bags but feel free to bring your own as well. The tide will be low so boots are recommended.
This activity is part of the Wild For Wareham program, offered jointly by the Coalition, Mass Audubon and the Wareham Land Trust.
