Missed the Lloyd Center‘s first Spring Bird Walk? The second walk of the series offers even more bird species diversity, as the numbers of migrants and nesters establishing territories increases in late spring.

Forest birds, shorebirds, and raptors such as osprey (Pandion haliaetus) are all potential sightings. We will take advantage of the variety of habitats that include forest edges, kettle ponds, vernal pools, salt marsh, and estuary that the Lloyd Center offers. Participants should bring binoculars and a bird guide if they have them. Pre-registration required by 4:00pm, Friday, May 4.

Cost: $10 Lloyd Center members, $13 nonmembers, $5 children under 12
