Take part in an age-old New England tradition during this fun, free family-friendly outdoor event with the Buzzards Bay Coalition at LaPalme Farm in Acushnet. You’ll learn about the history of maple tapping in southeastern Massachusetts and how to identify and tap a red maple tree for sap that can be made into sweet maple syrup.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
