Join forester Mike Labossiere for a walking tour of select and seldom seen sections of the Watuppa Reservation, part of the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve.

This tour will be the last in the History and Mystery series. As you walk along the trail, Mike will relate the fascinating human and natural history of the area.

The length of this walk is variable. If you have to leave early or feel you’ve walked enough, you can follow the nearby road back to your vehicle. Please dress for the weather and be sure to wear shoes/boots that are appropriate for walking on uneven ground. Water and snacks are always a good idea! Sorry, no dogs on this walk. Rain or serious snow will cancel.

Directions: From the intersection of Route 6 and Sanford Road, Westport, take Sanford Road north to Old Bedford Road. Turn right on Old Bedford Road to Blossom Road. Turn left on Blossom Road and continue north on Blossom Road past the Indian Town Road intersection to 2929 Blossom Rd. You’ll see vehicles parked in the lot on the east side of road.
