Join the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest for a challenging 15-mile hike from Myles Standish State Forest woodlands to the shores of Cape Cod Bay!

The Plymouth Wishbone Walking Trail was set up in 2007 by a local Boy Scout and runs from Myles Standish headquarters all the way to Ellisville Harbor State Park on Cape Cod Bay in Plymouth.

It is approximately 15 miles in length. Most of the trail is in the State Forest or in other conservation property, avoiding most local roads. The hike ends on the beach in Ellisville.

Please meet at Ellisville Harbor State Park to carpool back to the state forest. Participants should park in the inner parking lot.

Hike is estimated to take about eight hours, including carpool, regular breaks, and a stop for lunch. Recommended only for experienced hikers who cover seven miles or more regularly. Wear good shores, bring lunch and lots of water. Sunscreen and tick protection are also recommended.
