Join the Southeastern Massachusetts chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club for an adventure at Mass Audubon’s Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. This outing will be in one of 2 forms: 2 miles snow shoeing or 4 miles hiking, depending on weather and trail conditions.

The trails are relatively level but require negotiating roots and rocks. There are several trees to step over on the trails during hiking; the group will avoid most step overs for snow shoeing.

Registration is not required for this activity. No dogs allowed in the sanctuary by Mass Audubon rules.
