Missed the Lloyd Center‘s winter owl prowl? Then come along on the Spring Equinox, which this year occurs under the light of the full moon, when night creatures have an attitude! Better yet, warmer conditions and a friendlier hour if thoughts of the winter prowl gave you shivers.

You’ll try your luck on the Lloyd Center for the Environment property before venturing out in the Lloyd Center’s van to other stops, if necessary, to hear and see owls. With spring upon us, in addition to owls, who knows what might be awake!

Participants should bring (if available) binoculars, camera, and flashlight, and wear footwear for light walking on forest trails, and possibly snow.

Pre-registration required by 12pm Wednesday, March 20. This program is suitable for children ages 10 and older.

Cost: $10 Lloyd Center members, $13 nonmembers; children under 12 half-price
