Join the Sippican Lands Trust and Lorene Sweeney to look for amphibian signs of spring. The group will meet at the end of Parlowtown Road, and walk the wet and lively woods to White Eagle parcel.

Along the way, look at ponds and pools for signs of spring. While very weather and temperature dependent, hope to see and hear spring peepers and maybe Wood frogs in their frenetic spring breeding season.

Lorene Sweeney will share her experiences with the citizen science program “Frog Watch.” This should be a short walk of a mile or so, and the terrain is flat, but there are considerable wet areas and muddy stretches, so boots are recommended.
