The Friends of Myles Standish State Forest will be hosting a relaxed two-hour snowshoe/ hike on various trails in Myles Standish State Forest. If there is enough snow, snowshoes will be welcome.

A note will be sent out several days before the hike assessing current trail conditions. The hike will pass a few ponds, kettle holes and vernal pools and will traverse one of the more scenic areas of the forest. The estimated hike distance is 4 – 4.5 miles.

Dress properly for winter hiking with hat and warm gloves. This time of year, keeping warm on cold days is easy if you dress in layers that can be added or subtracted as necessary. The ability to adjust to conditions is essential to having a good time and a safe trip!
