Get your whole family to explore the outdoors during Family Friday Explorations, a series of three free outings in July hosted by the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the Plumb Summer Library Program. Through fun games and hands-on activities, your family will learn about the Buzzards Bay region’s animals, plants, and habitats. Recommended for families with elementary school-aged children.

This week we’ll explore life at Silvershell Beach in partnership with the Marion Recreation Department. You’ll learn how to pull a seine net and take a close look at what you catch! Meet at Silvershell Beach. Parking fees will be waived for this program.

Feel free to join us for one Family Friday adventure or all three! The other Family Friday Bay Adventures in this series are:

East Over Quest, July 15, 5:00-6:00 pm

Make Your Own Fishing Pole, July 29, 5:00-6:00 pm
