This time of year, sunny days and cool, rainy nights find mushrooms appearing almost magically in New England forests, fields, backyards, and vacant lots. Are you curious about these fungal manifestations? Join Green Futures for a walk in the woods to view the fungus among us. We will meet at the intersection of Wilson Road and Riggenbach Road in Fall River.

Approximate length of walk 1 mile. Water and a snack always a good idea. Insect repellent may be needed until first hard frost usually in late October/early November.

Mist/drizzle okay. Mushrooms like that. Rain cancels walk.

Cost: Free
