Fall Adult Learn to Sail with the Onset Bay Center- Week 6

Have you always wanted to learn how to sail? Want to refresh your knowledge of sailing? The OBC is offering a fall adult Learn to Sail class using our fleet of RS Quests.
Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-12pm during the session of your choosing.
Adult sailing classes require zero previous sailing experience. Participants will sail in groups of 2-3 with 1 coach in a powerboat providing instruction. Participants will sail the 14 ft RS Quests with a mainsail and jib. Participants must be able to move in a crouched position, climb in and out of a boat, and be comfortable in and around water. Classes will cover the basics of sailing based on the comfort level of lesson participants and based on the weather conditions in that given week. Please note that RS Quests can capsize during high wind conditions. The OBC Staff will work hard to prevent this from happening during a lesson, but it is possible. We ask that participants be prepared to go in the water in the event a capsize happens.
