Have you ever gone owling guided by the light of the moon?

Perhaps you’ve glimpsed the shadowy form of a great-horned owl in the beam of your headlights as you traveled a back road at night. You are invited to join Westport Land Conservation Trust and Paskamansett Bird Club President, Lauren Miller-Donnelly, for our annual owl prowl through the woods and wetlands of the 188-acre Herb Hadfield Conservation Area.

Your prowl will begin with learning about the habitats, behaviors and language of these amazing predators.

This walk is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please RSVP by email. Participants are asked to meet at the Herb Hadfield parking area for 6 pm sharp. Don’t be late!

Cost: Free
