Missed the winter owl prowl? Then kick off the spring season with an owl hike when the weather is warmer and the event hour more friendly. Focusing on the woodlands of the Lloyd Center property, we’ll attempt to lure owls with taped calls. Screech, barred, and great horned are the three owl species common to the region that may be encountered. Participants should bring binoculars, camera, and flashlights, and wear footwear for light walking on forest trails and possibly snow. Pre-registration is required by 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 24. This walk is recommended for children 10 and up.

Cost: Members: $9.00; Non-members: $12.00. Children under 12 are half price.
