Create something beautiful, and leave a beach cleaner than you found it!

Join New Bedford-based artist John Middleton for an exclusive trip to Cuttyhunk Island in search of the strange and interesting “shoreline objects” he uses to create unique pieces of art. Coalition educators will serve as guides to Cuttyhunk and its beautiful beaches, while John will help you find objects worn and transformed by the tides.

Then, in October, attend an art workshop in which John will show you how to use what you gathered to create beautiful and unique art pieces for your home.

Registration fee covers boat transport and your day out on Cuttyhunk as well as automatic registration for the workshop. We recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes and bringing lunch and a warm layer, as the island can be chillier than the mainland. All ages welcome.
