Join The Trustees and a group of professional horticulturists to learn some new pruning tips at the Allen C. Haskell Public Gardens! Winter is the best time to prune your trees and shrubs, getting us gardeners outside and ready for the upcoming spring. January’s class will focus on Hydrangea paniculata, Trumpet Vine, Rhododendrons, and Lilacs.

This is a hands-on workshop in the garden, so dress warmly and bring your favorite pair of pruners. The group will discuss proper tools, techniques, and work on a handful of specimens in the collection.
