If you’re taking the plunge at the Buzzards Bay Swim – or just considering it – join us at the finish line at DCR’s Fort Phoenix Beach in Fairhaven for an open water swim clinic and event orientation on Saturday, June 11 at 9:00am.

Buzzards Bay Swim Event Manager Deb Hood will offer an overview of the event and answer questions about the Swim and YMCA Southcoast Swim Coach (and long-time Buzzards Bay Swimmer) Brett Pacheco will offer first-hand knowledge of the course and tips for improving your efficiency, stroke, and sighting in open water.

This swim clinic is open to only those registered – or considering registering – for the Buzzards Bay Swim on June 25. Clinic will be cancelled if water temperature is below 65 degrees. Wetsuits are highly recommended if water is below 67 degrees.
