Help the Lloyd Center for the Environment clean up its butterfly garden and surrounding property! Tasks include raking and picking up and moving branches to prepare for burning. Feel free to bring your own gloves, loppers, leaf rakes, and snips. There will be tools available for those without any.

Munchkins, water, and hot coffee will be provided! Please dress in layers and wear closed-toe shoes. This is a great opportunity for community and family bonding. There will be appropriate jobs for children and adults.

As a result of everyone’s hard work, the Lloyd Center butterfly garden and property will be safer and more beautiful for visitors.

Following the event, volunteers can enjoy 5 miles of walking/hiking trails and the Visitor Center. Bring a picnic lunch to eat at the pavilion, located on the trails leading to the estuary, waterfront, and dock.

Pre-registration requested.
