Join the Wareham Land Trust for an early morning bird walk through Great Neck Widlife Sanctuary followed by a trail cleanup at a nearby conservation area. Volunteers from Mass Audubon will lead the group on a walk through the sanctuary, identifying various species of birds by sight and sound. Then the group will head to the Agawam River Trail to spruce up the trails.

Bird walk 7-9am: Bring binoculars, water, and bug spray. Wear clothing and shoes sturdy enough for a walk in the woods. Meet at the Great Neck parking area on Stockton Short Cut.

 

Trail cleanup 10-11am: Bring bug spray, rake, garbage bags, clippers, etc.
