Dr. Lewis’s work has focused on quantifying pesticides in plant tissues and on the development of chemical control methods of invasive, exotic insect pests of trees, including the Asian longhorned beetle, emerald ash borer and spotted lanternfly.

In this talk, Phil will discuss some of the insects that have invaded our tree populations, looking at the effects of their infestations and what we can do to reduce their negative impacts.
