Crows are much more intriguing than you might guess. Remarkably social and intelligent, these clever birds have long been a source of fascination and lore, forming tight-knit communities ominously called “murders.”

Explore this fascinating and impressive creature at the Myles Standish State Forest with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. You’ll learn how crows live, behave, adapt and survive all over the world, in all kinds of climates. The program will also discuss how different cultures have viewed crows throughout history, and how the myths closely relate to real crow behavior.

Rain may cancel; call ahead to confirm. Open to children ages 8 and up.

Cost: Free
