Once again, the Fairhaven Acushnet Land Preservation Trust has decided to host a trash cleanup in celebration of Earth Day!

The Winsegansett Marshes trail is still relatively trash free from last year’s cleanup, so the group will be focusing on the roadside trash along the property’s borders. The cleanup will be approximately 2-4 hours of easy walking and trash pickup, but feel free to join for any time period you are available! Please wear closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting dirty or wet, and dress in layers depending on the weather. Disposable sanitary gloves and trash bags will be provided, but feel free to bring your own work gloves if preferred.

Meet at the Shipyard Farm sign on the east side of Sconticut Neck Road. There is ample parking along the side of the road. Participants will receive a tree seedling to take home!
