The Buzzards Bay Coalition Annual Golf Tournament offers you the rare chance to play at the beautiful Bay Club at Mattapoisett with like-minded friends and colleagues who share your love of Buzzards Bay. Your participation supports the Coalition’s ongoing efforts to restore and protect the Bay.

The golf tournament takes place on Friday, October 21, with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Registration, lunch, and practice facilities open at 11 a.m. Foursomes play a scramble format with awards, prizes, and an exciting putting contest with the chance to win $5,000!

And a new twist on the format this year! There will be one hole on the front nine which is an elimination hole, and one hole on the back nine which is a one club hole. On the elimination hole, whichever player’s drive you use is done playing for the hole. Repeat this process until one player is left to finish out the hole. On the one club hole, each player chooses one club to use for the entire hole. Each player may choose to use a different club or the same club as the other golfers in their foursome.

Registration is first-come-first-served, and includes 18 holes of golf (cart included), boxed lunch, beer and soft drinks on the course, tournament gift, and a lively after-party reception at the Golf House Restaurant with cocktails, dinner, awards, and prizes. Individual registrants will be paired with other singles to create a foursome. If you’d like to play with one or two other individual golfers, please email events@savebuzzardsbay.org.
