Cycle the streets and the Shining Sea Bikeway from North Falmouth to Woods Hole and return for 27 miles or 3 hours or so with the Southeastern Massachusetts chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. We’ll do a shorter ride if the weather is iffy.

Starting at the Shining Sea Bikeway parking lot in North Falmouth, the ride will regroup at Old Silver Beach and look across Buzzards Bay toward Marion, Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, and New Bedford. The route may also include a couple of side tours into Gunning Point and Racing Beach areas. Then head to Woods Hole for refreshments. The return ride will bring the group to Nobska Light and then back to the Shining Sea Bikeway.

Ride will begin late morning. Helmets, water, spare tube required; used pump and tire changing tools would be a plus. Contact leader Paul Currier for start time and registration.
