With our first-ever habitat management grant, the Coalition will continue the work of thinning the vegetation to restore grasslands and protect island residents.

The pumpout encourages boaters to reduce the amount of untreated wastewater that would directly be discarded into the Bay and the boardwalk provides access to Barges and Channel beaches.

A prescribed springtime burn maintains the maritime grasslands along the western slope of the outermost Elizabeth Island.
